iQOO 15 Features Massive 8K VC Ice Dome Cooling System for 47% Better Heat Dissipation

iQOO is all set to unveil its next smartphone, dubbed iQOO 15, with power-packed features and enhancements. The company will launch the iQOO 15 alongside the iQOO Pad 5e. Ahead of the official launch, the tech giant has revealed crucial details about the upcoming smartphone, revealing design, display, cooling system, and several gaming features.

iQOO 15 Advanced Cooling Feature

iQOO 15 is scheduled to launch on 20 October, alongside the iQOO Pad 5e, iQOO Watch GT 2, and iQOO TWS 5 earphones. The company revealed that one of the standout features that the Iqoo15 will be equipped with is the 8K Vapour Chamber (VC) Ice Dome cooling system.

As per iQOO, this will be the first time that the largest VC cooling solution ever implemented in a smartphone. The cooling system will combine a double layer of ultra-thin thermal conductivity graphite and will deliver up to 47% better cooling performance.

iQOO’s product manager also highlighted the heat sink in the iQOO 15, which is going to be over three times larger than the one found in the iPhone 17 Pro Max.

Warhammer MAX Dual-Axis Motor and Enhanced Audio

For an enhanced gaming experience, the iQOO 15 will feature the Warhammer MAX dual-axis motor that helps in supporting the bidirectional X- and Z-axis vibrations in the smartphone. Additionally, the smartphone will also have the War Drum Master Pro symmetrical dual speakers, expected to offer better gaming, videos, and music output.

Display and Processor

Under the hood, the iQOO 15 will be powered by Qualcomm’s latest chipset, Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, paired with the company’s custom Q3 gaming chip and QNSS engine. For display, it will sport a 6.85-inch 2K 8T LTPO Samsung “Everest” display along with a 144Hz refresh rate and 6,000 nits peak brightness.

The smartphone will also deliver smooth 144fps performance at 2K resolution. Other than this iQOO 15 will be equipped with the Universal Esports Network System 2.0 that comes with 23 antennas.

Battery

To power the phone, the company might launch the iQOO 15 with a 7000mAh battery capacity with wireless charging. The phone will get an IP69 rating for dust and water resistance.
