iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Air, iphone 17 Pro Max to Launch in 2025: Thinnest Design Reveals

Apple recently launched the iPhone 16 series globally with several features enhancing the iPhone experience. Now the new reports claim the tech giant is coming with a new design overhaul with the upcoming iPhone 17 series. The company is expected to bring the iPhone 17 series as the thinnest iPhone ever, especially the iPhone 17 Air. From what we know so far, the iPhone 17 Air is expected to be around 2 millimeters thinner than the iPhone 16 Pro. While the dust has settled for this iPhone 16 series, we can now expect some major updates for next year’s iPhone 17 series.

iPhone 17 Air Expected Specifications:

The upcoming iPhone 17 Air will likely replace the Plus variant in iPhone 16. As per reports, the iPhone 17 Air is expected to be the thinnest iPhone ever with a thickness between 5 and 6mm. To recall, the iPhone 16 Plus comes with 160.9 mm height, 77.8 mm width, and 7.80 mm depth. The iPhone 17 Air is expected to be equipped with a  6.6-inch OLED display along with a narrower Dynamic Island. It might come with a 120Hz refresh rate and an Always on Display feature and is expected to be protected with an anti-reflective coating and ceramic shield.

As per reports, the new modem will not be used in Apple’s higher-end products. It will come under a mid-tier iPhone. The upcoming iPhone 17 Air appears with a code name D23 which features a far thinner design than current iPhones.

The modem that will power the upcoming iPhone 17 Air is rumored to be as powerful as the one used in the iPhone 16 Pro. It is expected to feature the same titanium-aluminium frame just like iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max. These models have a Grade 5 titanium frame with a micro-blasted texture. It will also feature a central rear camera bump that is expected to bring a distinctive and extra touch of style.

Other models including the iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max are expected to feature a durable rare panel that will be made of half-glass, half-aluminium in terms of design and build quality.
