Apple has always been known to bring a refreshed version to its iPhones, bringing innovation in the best ways possible. However, some might not agree after the launch of the iPhone 16. But we can still expect some or the other innovations on the plate. Apple launched the iPhone 16 last year in September. Nevertheless, it is still a bit too early to talk about the iPhone 17, but there has been a fair share of rumors and leaks suggesting that Apple is indeed bringing the iPhone 17 Air alongside the Apple 17 series.
The next iPhone 17 lineup will feature iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Pro, and iPhone 17 Pro Max, and the Plus variant will be replaced by iPhone 17 Air. A recent leak suggests that the upcoming iPhone Air will feature a horizontal camera bar. The leak came from the leakster Jon Prosser. He shared the new renders of the iPhone 17 Air which showcases that the device will be equipped with a large, pill-shaped camera design with horizontal placement. He has shown the design of the phone on his YouTube channel Front Page Tech.
Bonus iPhone 17 Air detail:
The phone is so thin, that the USBC port isn’t / can’t be centered on the Y-axis. The port is closer to the back of the phone than it is the front. https://t.co/RknUQASJea

The pro models will retain the same camera design rectangular style, but the Air might feature a single 48MP horizontal camera. Additionally, the iPhone 17 Air is expected to also feature a microphone and LED flash unit. However, the rendered images are just leaks and nothing has been officially confirmed.
The renders also showcased that the phone will be 5.5mm in thickness, which means it’s going to be the thinnest iPhone ever. With the slim design, we might witness the reduced specifications and features. In addition, the renders also showcase that the volume rockers will be placed on the left and action button will be placed on the right side of the iPhone 17 Air.
