Infinix Smart 9 HD will release in India on January 28; Here are the details

Infinix Smart 9 HD is all set to make a debut in the Indian market. As confirmed by the company itself, the device will launch on January 28 at 12:00 PM IST. The promotional banner of the handset is listed on Flipkart along with a microsite as well. It is being hailed as the ‘most durable phone in the segment.’ As claimed by the company, the phone has been drop-tested 2,50,000 times and even carries IP54 certification for protection from dust and splash.

The smartphone will most probably ship with a square-shaped camera island consisting of two sensor cutouts along with a pill-shaped LED flash unit. The device will be available in three different color options – Coral Gold, Metallic Black, and Mint Green.

Infinix Smart 9 HD could come with a 6.7-inch HD+ display coupled with a 90Hz refresh rate and 500 nits of peak brightness. The device will be powered by a MediaTek Helio G50 processor paired with 3GB RAM and unknown internal storage. It is also being said that the device will also get a 3GB virtual extension.

In terms of optics, the Infinix Smart 9 HD will sport a dual rear camera setup including a 13MP primary shooter. The camera setup at the back of the phone will be able to produce average-level photographs without any issues.

Additionally, the device will also get a dual LED flash at the back. For capturing selfies and attending video calls, the smartphone will get an 8MP front snapper. It will be powered by a 5000mAh battery along with a USB Type-C charging port. Infinix claimed that the device will be able to deliver 14.5 hours of video playback and gaming of up to 8.6 hours once charged completely.
