Infinix has launched a new smartphone in the budget segment in India. The Infinix Note 40 5G succeeds the Note 30 5G and comes with a couple of upgrades. The device features a 120Hz AMOLED screen, a triple-rear camera system, and a new MediaTek Dimensity chipset. The smartphone also comes with a big battery, fast charging support and the latest Android operating system. Let’s see the phone’s price and full specifications.

Infinix Note 40 5G India price, offers, and availability

The Infinix Note 40 5G is priced at Rs 19,999 for the lone 8GB RAM and 256GB of internal storage. Buyers can get a Rs 2,000 bank discount and a Rs 2,000 exchange bonus, taking the price down to Rs 15,999. There’s also a no-cost EMI option starting at Rs 1,333 per month.

The smartphone comes in two colour options: Obsidian Black and Titan Gold. It will go on sale from June 26 at 2 PM on Flipkart. The Note 40 5G rivals the Realme Narzo 70, iQOO Z9, and the upcoming OnePlus Nord CE 4 Lite 5G.

The Note 40 5G features a new design on the rear when compared to the predecessor. It sports a 6.78-inch display with an FHD+ resolution support. The punch-hole AMOLED panel has a 120Hz refresh rate and 2160Hz PWM dimming support. It’s a 10-bit screen with 1300 nits of peak brightness and TUV Rheinland certification. The display doubles up as an in-display fingerprint scanner for added security.

In terms of cameras, it boasts a triple-rear camera system with a 108MP main lens. It is accompanied by a 2MP depth lens and a 2MP macro unit. There’s a 3x lossless zoom support. Upfront, it has a 32MP camera for selfies. Infinix has offered 12 camera modes, including Super Night Mode, Portrait Mode, Sky Shop and more.

As for performance, the device is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7020 octa-core chipset clocked at 2.2GHz. The 6nm chipset is paired with 8GB of RAM and virtual RAM, taking the total RAM on the device up to 16GB. It has 256GB of UFS 2.2 onboard storage. It packs a 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging support.

Interestingly, it also comes with wireless charging with compatible accessories like MagCase and MagPad. The smartphone boots on Android 14 OS out of the box with XOS 14 on top. Infinix has promised 2 major Android upgrades and 3 years of security patch updates. This means users will receive OS updates till Android 16.
