Google Pixel 9a release date surfaced online; Here are the details

Google Pixel 9a is going to launch pretty soon in the global market. While its predecessor was launched in May 2024, we got to know through leaks that the latest offering will launch before May. And now, recent leaks have suggested that the device will be released on March 19, 2025, in the European and US markets. The smartphone will go on sale starting from March 26, 2025. And the timing for the India launch will also be similar to the global launch.

Google Pixel 9a leaked details

Starting with the pricing, the Google Pixel 9a will be available in the market at a starting price of $499 which converts to around 43,100. The base variant of the device will get 128GB of internal storage. The 256GB internal storage variant will be available for $599 which converts to Rs 51,800. In India, we can expect the device will debut at a starting price point of Rs 50,000 similar to its predecessor.

Coming to the specifications, the Google Pixel 9a will come with a 6.3-inch AMOLED display coupled with a 120Hz refresh rate protected by Gorilla Glass 2. The design of the device will be similar to what we got to see in the Pixel 9 series phones. It will be powered by the Google Tensor G4 processor paired with 8GB LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB internal storage in the high-end variant. For better security, the phone may also get a Titan M2 processor.

The Google Pixel 9a will sport a dual rear camera setup consisting of a 48MP primary shooter and a 13MP ultra wide angle shooter. It will house a 5100mAh battery along with 23W wired fast charging support and 7.5W wireless charging support. The smartphone will also get IP68 certification for dust and water resistance. It is also being said that the device will have four color options – Peony, Obsidian, Porcelain, and Iris.
