Google Pixel 8A goes on sale in India: Check price, specs, discount offers

Google Pixel 8A sale: Google launched the Google Pixel 8a in India last week. Now, a week after its official launch, the phone is up for purchase in the country. Interested buyers can head over to Flipkart to buy the phone in the colour of their choice.

For the unversed, the Pixel 8a costs Rs 52,999 for the variant with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage space, and Rs 59,999 for the variant with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage space. Interested buyers can pick from Porcelain (Cream), Aloe (Green), Obsidian (Black) and Bay (Blue) colour variants.

Google Pixel 8a discount offers

As a part of the launch offer, Google is offering a host of interesting discount offers to the interested buyers. The company is offering a discount of Rs 4,000 on the purchases made using select bank cards. It is also offering an exchange bonus of Rs 9,000 on select smartphone models.  Coupled together, these offers bring down the price of the 128GB model to Rs 39,999 and that of the 256GB model to Rs 46,999.

In addition to this, the company is offering 12 months of no-cost EMI to the buyers. It is also offering the Pixel Buds A-Series at a price of Rs 999 with the purchase of the Pixel 8a.

Google Pixel 8a specifications

Google Pixel 8a comes with 6.1-inch Actua OLED display with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels, Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection, up to 2,000 nits of peak brightness and HDR support. It is powered by the Google Tensor G3 processor that is coupled with Titan M2 security co-processor, 8GB of LPDDR5x RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. It runs Android 14 and it comes with a 4,492mAh battery with support for fast-charging technology and wireless charging technology.

On the camera front, the Google Pixel 8a has a dual camera setup at the back that includes a 64MP quad PD wide-angle camera with up to 8x Super Res Zoom and a 13MP ultra-wide-angle camera. The rear camera also supports OIS and EIS for videos. On the front, the Pixel 8a has a 13MP fixed focus camera.

For security the phone has an in-display fingerprint sensor and for connectivity, the phone has USB Type-C 3.2, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, Google Cast, GPS, NavIC.
