Google Pixel 10 Leak Reveals Key Specs, New Design And Colour Options Ahead Of Launch

Google is expected to unveil the Pixel 10 series at its upcoming Made by Google event on August 20, but leaks and rumours are already making headlines. The latest buzz comes from a Chinese auction site where an alleged Pixel 10 prototype has surfaced. The listing showcases the device’s motherboard, confirming the use of Google’s new Tensor G5 chip and hints at a triple rear camera setup — a first for the base Pixel model.

Pixel 10 Prototype Surfaces Online

The listing appeared on Goofish, a popular Chinese auction platform, where a seller has offered what they claim is a Pixel 10 prototype motherboard, labelled as EVT1.0 — short for Engineering Validation Testing. It includes photos of the device and references a Design Validation Test (DVT), confirming that the model is still in the early stages of development. The unit, said to be fully functional, is priced at CNY 7,777 (approx. Rs 92,000).

One of the most notable upgrades in the leaked prototype is the triple rear camera system, including a telephoto lens — a feature that has so far been reserved for Pro variants. Leaked renders show a pill-shaped camera bar, matching earlier rumours. The configuration is said to feature a 48MP primary sensor, 12MP ultra-wide, and 10.8MP telephoto sensor with 5x optical zoom.

Pixel 10 also seems to feature a flat screen with thin bezels and a hole-punch selfie camera, following Google’s new minimalist design philosophy.

Pixel 10 Specifications and Features (Expected)

The Pixel 10 will probably arrive with a 6.3-inch full-HD+ display boasting a 120Hz refresh rate. It could be fueled by the next-generation Tensor G5 chip, coupled with a MediaTek T900 modem and boot Android 16 out of the box. The phone is rumored to feature a 4,970mAh battery that supports 29W wired charging and 15W wireless Qi2.

Pixel 10 is tipped to be released in Frost, Indigo, Lemongrass, and Obsidian shades with up to 256GB of storage. The Pixel 10 Pro, Pro XL, and Pro Fold are speculated to be available in higher-end colors such as Jade, Moonstone, and Porcelain, with storage ranging up to 1TB.
