Apple continues to stir and maintain the curiosity with its upcoming iPhones in this ever-evolving world of smartphones. Every year, people wait for the upcoming iPhones, often merging innovation with the company’s strategy to bring something or the other. With this in mind, even 2026 might not be different, as the reports speculate that the brand is planning to bring iPhone 17e. While Apple hasn’t officially confirmed anything yet, hints from industry insiders suggest the tech giant might be preparing to shift its focus towards iPhone 16e’s successor.
iPhone 17e: Here’s Everything We Know So Far
As per report, Apple is preparing for the iPhone 17e and the upcoming phone is in the trial production stage. The smartphone is expected to be launched next year with flagship features. According to Weibo leaker Fixed Focus Digital, Apple is expected to unveil its iPhone 17e next year, at the same time when it launched iPhone 16e, which means the company is likely to boost the sales during a typically light quarter.

Fixed Focus Digital also mentioned about spotting a ‘new project codename’ in Apple’s supply chain. The reports doesn’t mention about any specific details of the iPhone 17e, but it surely indicated that it could have more than one camera and better chipset. To recall, iPhone 16e is equipped with Apple A18 chipset along with 8GB of RAM. It also offers Apple Intelligence features and 48MP camera on the back. For selfies, it has 12MP sensor of the front.

Talking about the price, the iPhone 16e comes at Rs 59,900 in India and if the company is planning to upgrade few things in the upcoming iPhone 17e including camera and processor, then it might cost somewhere around on the higher side. However, even the iPhone 16e is on the higher side as compared to the SE models.
