
Apple has finally launched the brand new iPhone 16e in the Indian market. It could be said to be the iPhone SE 4 but with the brand new moniker features that you never got to see before in an SE offering. The iPhone 16e is available in the Indian market at a starting price of Rs 59,900. The device has three different storage options – 128GB storage available for Rs 59,900, 256GB storage available for 69,900, and the 512GB storage option available for Rs 89,900. The pre-orders of the device will be in the country on February 21, 2025. And it will be available for purchase starting from February 28, 2025. The device will be available in two different color options – Black and White.
The iPhone 16e offers a clean design as expected along with a single sensor placed at the top left corner of the rear panel. It comes with a 6.1-inch OLED display and a 60Hz refresh rate. The device is powered by the A18 processor that we got to see in other iPhone 16 series phones last year. The smartphone comes with 8GB RAM which is a considerable upgrade over its predecessor that shipped with just 3GB RAM. Furthermore, the high-end variant of the handset brings 512GB onboard storage which will work as a major relief for the users.
The latest offering from the Cupertino giant runs on iOS 18.3 and will also support other upgraded versions of the operating system in the future. In terms of optics, we get to see a 48MP single shooter at the back with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS). Despite the less number of sensors, we can expect the phone to click some of the best day light and low-light photographs. For the sake of selfies and video calls, the phone includes a 12MP front snapper as well.
The iPhone 16e comes with 20W fast charging support and Qi wireless charging support. Other features include USB Type-C, WiFi 6, 5G (Apple Modem), and WiFi 6. It also has IP68 certification for dust and water resistance.
