Apple is possibly prepping to release its first foldable iPhone in 2026. Several reports have suggested that the phone will launch in a year. And the crucial details of the phone like price range, display size, and more have also surfaced on the internet in multiple leaks. In a recent development, the global pricing and launch timeline have also been tipped online.
According to the latest report by Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, it has been revealed that the device will make a debut in 2026. It has also been mentioned in the report that the foldable will be priced at Rs $2,000 which roughly converts to Rs 1,71,450. Apart from that, analyst Jeff Pu reveals that the foldable iPhone has already entered the New Production Introduction (NPI) phase at Foxconn.
Furthermore, he has also stated that the device will enter the early prototyping phase in April this year. Additionally, the phone will reach the mass production stage in the second half of 2026. The report also states that Apple will launch the foldable iPhone with a 7.8-inch display and 5.8-inch outer display. It will possibly have a book-style foldable system with zero creases on the inner display.
The iPhone will have a stainless steel-aluminum alloy hinge and titanium alloy casing for stronger durability. And reports have also mentioned that the phone will get a dual camera setup that we’ve seen in base iPhones. It will also integrate the Touch ID into the power button.
Among all the things, it has been revealed that the phone will get a single front sensor. However, nothing has been confirmed by Apple officially regarding the launch of the device. So, the readers are suggested to take the information with a grain of salt.
