Acer Aspire 3D 15 SpatialLabs Edition launched: Specifications, price

Acer has introduced a new laptop with 3D technology in India. Called the Aspire 3D 15 SpatialLabs Edition, the laptop is meant for 3D content creators who can leverage the display’s ability to show glass-free 3D images and videos using the SpatialLabs technology, which allows you to switch between 2D and stereoscopic 3D modes seamlessly. The laptop has an optical lens right on the display to create a dynamic system where images are projected and refracted based on eye movements.

“Through the fusion of innovative components such as sensory eye-tracking, stereoscopic 3D displays, real-time rendering, and AI-accelerated experience, Acer has crafted a platform that elevates user engagement to new heights,” said Acer in a release.

The new laptop from Acer has a 15.6-inch 4K display with a 1920×2160-pixel resolution in 3D mode and a 100 percent Adobe RGB colour gamut. Powering the Acer Aspire 3D 15 SpatialLabs is up to a 13th Gen Intel Core i7 processor, paired with either an NVIDIA GeForce RTZ 4020 with 4GB of GDDR6 of VRAM or a 4050 GPU with 6GB of GDDR6 VRAM. The company claims that GPU offers 3D rendering and multitasking effectively on the laptop. The laptop has 16GB of DDR5 RAM, but you can upgrade it to 32GB. It has 512GB and 1TB of PCIe Gen 4 NVMe SSD storage options. You get HDMI 2.1, USB-C (Thunderbolt 4), and Wi-Fi 6 as connectivity options.

The Acer Aspire 3D 15 SpatialLabs Edition has AI technologies like Acer PurifiedView, PurifiedVoice, and Acer TNR for low-light performance. Its speakers feature DTS Ultrasound, while the AcerSense app offers a personalised experience. The laptop also uses a USB HD camera with 720p HD video at 30 fps with Temporal Noise Reduction. The camera supports an HD camera feed for clear audio and video recording. You get a 57Wh battery on the laptop. It supports 135W fast charging, which can cause the laptop to heat, but the TwinAir Cooling technology with dual fans and three copper heat pipes helps dissipate it.

The new Aspire 3D 15 SpatialLabs Edition has two SKUs:

— the one with Intel Core i5-13420H, RTX 2050, 16GB RAM, and 512GB SSD costs Rs 1,49,999.

— the variant with Intel Core i7-13620H, RTX 4050, 16GB RAM, and 1TB SSD is priced at Rs 1,74,999.

The laptop is available in Obsidian Black colour from Acer exclusive stores, Acer online stores, and Flipkart.
