EPF or Employees’ Provident Fund is a government managed pension scheme for all working professionals in India. As a part of this scheme, employees must contribute 12 percent of their basic salaries towards PF. Organisations must contribute an equal amount to the employee’s PF. This amount earns an interest of 8.33 percent annually. Working professionals in India can withdraw all of the balance in their PF accounts on completing 58 years. However, employees can also withdraw their PF balance partially based on their requirement. a) Medical treatment
b) Marriage or education after seven years of working
c) Purchasing land for house, construction of house or flat, house renovation after five years

– Complete withdrawal of PF is allowed under the following circumstances:
a) When an individual retires
b) When an individual is unemployed for more than one month
– Universal Account Number (UAN)
– Bank account details of the EPF subscribers
– Cancelled check with IFSC code
– Aadhaar number
Step 1: Go the UAN portal.
Step 2: Login to your EPF account using your UAN and password.
Step 3: Enter the captcha code and tap the ‘Sign-In’ button to sign into your account.
Step 4: Select the ‘Manage’ tab option and then select ‘KYC’ to verify your KYC details.
Step 5: Once your KYC details have been verified, select the ‘Online Services’ tab.
Step 6: Now select ‘Claim (Form-31,19,10C&10D)’ option from the drop-down menu.
Step 7: Now enter your bank account details and click on the ‘Verify’ button.
Step 8: Next, click on the ‘Yes’ button to sign the undertaking certificate.
Step 9: Then click on the ‘Proceed for Online Claim’ option.
Step 10: In the claim form, select the claim that is right for you. For instance, you can select complete EPF withdrawal or EPF part withdrawal under the ‘I Want To Apply For’ tab.
Step 11: Next, choose ‘PF Advance (Form 31)’ option to withdraw your fund.
Step 12: Now add the amount you want to withdraw, purpose of withdrawal and your address.
Step 13: Now, click on the certificate and then submit your application.
