WhatsApp has introduced a new feature that will make the calling experience better and plan calls in advance. How to schedule WhatsApp Calls

  • Go to the calls tab
  • Tap the + button
  • Click on the “Schedule Call” option and select the date, time and people to add to the call.
  • This will send a notification to all the participants of the call. Participants will be able to join the call via the shared link. 
  • Similarly, you can track your upcoming scheduled calls from the calls tab itself. This will show the list of attendees and call links.

Not only that, your calls will be synced to the Google Calendar for easier access.

What Else?

Apart from this scheduling calls feature, WhatsApp has also got a new feature which looks similar to Google Meet. During a call, users will be able to raise their hand to indicate that they would like to speak. Or, you can also send a reaction without the need to talk.
