Frequent highway travelers in India have a reason to cheer as the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH) has officially introduced a FASTag Annual Pass. Designed especially for non-commercial vehicle owners, this new scheme allows up to 200 highway trips in a year with just a one-time payment. It aims to simplify the lives of regular travelers who often have to recharge their FASTag accounts repeatedly before every trip.
The FASTag Annual Pass lets users travel seamlessly across national highways without the hassle of multiple recharges. Priced at Rs 3,000, the pass covers 200 toll crossings within a year. This initiative offers both convenience and savings, especially for those who travel long distances regularly.
Once activated, the pass will automatically deduct toll fees from your FASTag wallet every time you cross a toll plaza, without needing additional top-ups until the trip limit is reached.
This digital convenience ensures that travelers can enjoy uninterrupted highway journeys without worrying about running out of balance. With this initiative, the government continues to promote smoother and smarter travel experiences across India’s rapidly growing highway network.
