While a lot of people travel to their hometowns during Holi 2024, some aren’t able to do so. Be it because of work, travel time or lack of days off, sometimes greeting friends and family in person on Holi just isn’t possible. But that doesn’t mean that you have to greet your friends and family on Holi in a boring way, that is, using a simple one-liner message. So, here are three ways you can greet your friends and family this Holi using WhatsApp.
Using GIFs
Step 1: Open WhatsApp on your Android smartphone or iPhone.
Step 2: Open the chat where you want to share Holi 2024 GIF.
Step 3: Tap the sticker button at the bottom of your phone’s screen and then tap the GIF icon.
Step 4: Now ap the Search icon and type ‘Holi 2024’ and you will see all available GIFs.
Step 5: Lastly, tap the GIF that you like and want to share in the chat.
Using third-party sticker apps
Step 1: Open WhatsApp app on your smartphone.
Step 2: Open the chat where you want to send the Holi 2024 sticker.
Step 3: Tap the sticker button at the bottom right corner of the screen and then tap the Plus icon to see all the available sticker options.
Step 4: Tap the ‘Discover Sticker apps’ option at the bottom of the screen to find more stickers.
Step 5: Now you will see a list of third-party sticker apps on the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store, depending on your smartphone. One of the apps that you can download is Sticker.ly.
Step 6: Now open the app and log into it.
Step 7: In the search bar of the app, type ‘Holi 2024’.
Step 8: Next tap the Plus icon and then tap on ‘Add’ to your WhatsApp sticker pack.
Step 9: Open WhatsApp and then tap the newly added sticker pack.
Step 10: Tap the sticker that you want to share and then tap the send button to share it.
Using personalised stickers
Step 1: Open WhatsApp and then open the chat where you want to share the sticker.
Step 2: Tap the sticker icon towards the right of the message bar.
Step 3: Tap on the sticker option to go to stickers and then tap the Create button.
Step 4: Select the picture that you want to use and then adjust the size of the image, add emojis, existing stickers, and text.
Step 5: Tap the Send button to share it in the chat.
This trick can be used only on WhatsApp Web and iPhones.
