At this Diwali, Google has given users a Diwali treat with a special interactive animation that appears on its search page. Gone beyond the conventional stagnant Doodles, the technological giant has designed a rich and interactive experience where its users can enjoy the Diwali spirit online. The animation incorporates the old with the new and this gives the festival of lights a playful and lively touch.
In order to view this feature, one has to enter Diwali in Google Search. The bottom right corner of the search results will have a bright and colorful GIF. The decorative lamp stand in the shape of a peacock, with a glow of diyas, is also part of the animation. When one clicks on the animation, one can see other features such as Goddess Lakshmi, which depicts wealth and prosperity. A plate of conventional sweets such as laddoos and jalebis may also be viewed by the users, which adds to the festal feel.
