Marvel Vs Capcom Fighting Collection: Arcade Classics and Capcom Fighting Collection 2 are going to release for Xbox in 2025. The time from the current months to the launch will be invested in making the Xbox version of the game bug-free. Capcom confirmed the same after its discussion with Microsoft regarding the making of the ports for Xbox. As of now, there is no word on the exact release date for the Capcom titles.
It can be said that the timings for the Xbox launch are decently delayed as compared to the PS5 and PC launch scheduled on September 12, 2024. Previously, rumors suggested that Capcom was going to ditch launching the games for Xbox but Microsoft was working to find a solution. Furthermore, the latest official update from the franchise has confirmed that the game will be reaching Xbox, just a little later than other consoles.
The Capcom Fighting Collection 2 consists of eight titles – Project Justice, Street Fighter Alpha 3 Upper, Power Stone 2, Capcom vs SNK, Capcom vs SNK 2, Plasma Sword, Capcom Fighting Solution, and Power Stone. On the other hand, the Marvel vs Capcom Fighting Collection: Arcade Classics has some of the best titles based on Marvel and Capcom characters.
The titles included in the collection are X-Men vs Street Fighter, The Punisher, X-men Children of the Atom, Marvel Super Heroes vs Street Fighter, Marvel Super Heroes, Marvel vs Capcom 2 New Age of Heroes, and Marvel vs Capcom Clash of Super Heroes.
Talking about one of the most popular titles from the collection, Marvel vs Capcom 2 New Age of Heroes, you get to see 56 characters from the Capcom and Marvel Universe. Marvel characters that you can spot in the game are Iron Man, Hulk, Wolverine, Captain America, Dr. Doom, Magneto, and a lot more.
