Finally, after a long wait, Sony has announced the date for the State of Play event. The event is scheduled to be held on Tuesday, September 24, where we will get to see upcoming games for the PS5 series and PS VR2. As published on multiple sources, Sony will be providing updates related to a total number of 20 games in the State of Play event. The broadcast for the same will begin at 2:30 AM IST on September 25 in India. As confirmed by Sony, the broadcast will be crips and short, as it will only go on for 30 minutes. Sony is going to follow a similar pattern to the PS5 Pro reveal. In a few minutes, we got to see one of the best Sony consoles that is all set to create history when it drops. Now, we can expect a similar pattern with the Sony State of Play event. We can get to see studios like Naughty Dogs and Santa Monica announce new legendary AAA titles at the event. Apart from that, speculations are that the audience will also get some update on one of the most popular PS5 titles, yes, I am talking about the sequel of Ghost of Tsushima here. In addition, we can also get to see updates on the Wolverine Game, most probably a new trailer, from Insomniac Games as the franchise has been in silent mode on the game ever since the first trailer dropped. High chances are that the event will be used as a medium to announce the debut of Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered. That being said third-party announcements like Silent Hill 2 remake, Phantom Blade Zero, and Death Stranding 2 could also become a part of the event. All in all, we can say that the event is going to be a delight for all PlayStation enthusiasts. Chances are that we might get to see a couple of surprise packages in the State of Play event as well.
