Yes, you read that right, Sony has already introduced a new page on the official PlayStation website throwing light on Sony’s plan to sell certified refurbished PlayStation 5 consoles. Once you visit the page, you will witness both the PlayStation 5 Digital Edition and Standard Edition listed on the website as coming soon.

Along with that, the customers will also get the refurbished DualSense controllers on the PlayStation official website. As mentioned by Sony, refurbished consoles are products that work identically to a brand new PlayStation and the parts replaced in the same are genuine ones by Sony. The controllers come thoroughly clean, tested, and inspected which makes them more reliable.

The deal is perfect for people who don’t want to spend a lot on consoles and still want to experience the best new-generation games. The products will come with Certified Refurbished packaging and will be delivered to you via either 1-day express delivery or 2-day standard delivery. As for the pricing, the refurbished PS5 Standard Edition will be available on the platform for $399 and the refurbished digital edition can be purchased for $349.

Talking about the controllers, they will be available in a range of $59.99 to $64.99 based on the color options. The refurbished consoles are priced $100 below the original ones and the controls are available at a $10 discount. As of now, Sony has not discussed the regions in which the refurbished consoles will be shipped. However, speculations are that we will get to know more about their availability once the Coming Soon tag gets removed from the Sony page.
