Recently, AYANEO launched their AYANEO 3, which is the world’s first modular handheld. Even ANBERNIC’s RG Slide also stole the spotlight with its Xperia Play-like form factor, making it an appealing option for gamers looking for portable gaming.

Now, Retroid is hinting at a new handheld. They have posted some unique teasers that have got fans guessing about a dual screen handheld. 

For years, the retro gaming community has been asking companies for an affordable and capable dual-screen device. This makes it perfect to emulate OG classics like Nintendo DS and 3DS games. Some options like AYANEO Flip DS offer dual screens but is a costly Windows-based devices. We have seen more dual screen devices like Surface Duo 2 so, Retroid already has some examples for inspiration. 

With the recent launch of the Retroid Pocket Flip 2, which boasts a clamshell design similar to a Nintendo DS, the company might actually be working on the mystery dual-screen device. While Retroid has kept the details of this new handheld under wraps, fans are already guessing things about this new console.
