PUBG Mobile Bans 6 Lakh Accounts: No Mercy for Cheaters

PUBG Mobile has recently permanently banned more than 627,446 accounts. Additionally, the company also suspended 18,972 devices. The developers shared this information via Instagram . The latest ban pan anti-cheat report given by PUBG Mobile shows the statistics of players at different levels, most of whom were in the bronze level. The reasons behind banning and suspending accounts involves cheating, hacking, and several other issues. These reasons are also divided according to percentage. Most of these players have been banned for using auto-aim hacks.

PUBG Account Banned:

PUBG Mobile has banned the accounts of millions of players who gained an edge over other players by cheating and hacking in the game. In the post, PUBG Mobile has also shared that out of over 627,446 accounts, 57 percent players were at Bronze level, 4 percent at Diamond, 4 percent at Crown, 5 percent at Silver, 3 percent at Platinum, 4 percent at Gold, 21 percent at Ace and the remaining 2 percent at Conqueror level.

Giving information about the hacks being used by the players, PUBG Mobile shared that 13 percent of the banned accounts were using Auto-Aim hacks. However, 9 percent were using X-Ray Vision hacks, which help player lock aim on enemies and see through walls respectively. Of these accounts, 3 percent were banned for speed hacks, 2 percent for modification of area damage, and 73 percent for using some other hacks.

PUBG Cheating Content Banned:

In addition, the gaming company also removed several cheating content, including 494 videos having total 36,031 views, 30 accounts with 91010 followers, 31 livestreams with 870 viewers, and 17 PUBG mobile accounts and devices on Level 52.

PUBG, a game built by Krafton but published by Chinese tech giant Tencent, was banned in India in 2020 as part of the banning all the Chinese apps in the country. The game has 20 million daily active players worldwide. As per a statistics, as of April 2024, China accounted for 66 percent of global player spending on PUBG: Mobile.
