We all know that PS5 Pro is going to be the latest addition to the PS5 lineup by Sony. A few days ago, Sony announced the console in a YouTube stream along with showcasing its capabilities. As for the design, the PS5 Pro will have a similar chassis, the only visible difference is three stripes on each panel as compared to single striped panels of the PS5 Slim. Apart from that, the Pro variant of PS5 will not have a disc edition. It will only ship in a single digital edition that can be paired with a disc drive for PS5. The PlayStation 5 will be released in the global market on November 7, 2024. And it will be available for purchase from that very moment in the United States of America. However, the availability of the console can differ based on the region you are living in. The pre-order for the PS5 will start from September 26, 2024, via the official website of PlayStation. The PS5 Pro will be available in the market at a price of $699.99 which converts to 58,503 as per INR. Now, one thing which all of you should keep in mind is that the price can be slightly on the upper side as compared to the exact conversion that we got to see here. Speculations are that it will not cost more than Rs 65,000 in the Indian market. And if the discounts work their wonders, then we can even get the console at a price lower than that. As for the specs, the PlayStation 5 Pro will come with an upgraded GPU along with AI-driven upscaling and Advanced Ray Tracing. As claimed by Sony, the PS5 Pro will offer 67% more Compute Units and 28% faster RAM as compared to its predecessor.
The rendering speed of the console will be 45% faster than its predecessor. Apart from that, it will be able to depict the graphics in an enhanced way. Not only this, but Sony’s latest tech, PS5 Pro Game Boost, will allow the console to run 8500 backward-compatible PS4 games. Furthermore, multiple popular titles like Alan Wake 2, Dragon’s Dogma 2, Gran Tourismo 7, and The Last of Us Part 2 will get a software update to run with improved graphics on the PS5 Pro.
