The event not only hosts a competition, but it also brings together some of the best professional teams from different regions of the world for the championship title.

The Garena Free Fire World Series offers a prize pool offering $1 million, with the winning team taking home the largest share along with the world championship title. However, the game developers have not yet announced the prize money.

Each competition and its edition is hosted in a different location which makes it one of the most anticipated competitions in the Free Fire esports calendar.

Free Fire World Series 2025 Dates and Location:

For 2025, Garena has officially announced the days and location for the World Series. This year the global finals will feature 18 teams from across the globe. The competition and tournament will start from 31 October and will take place till 15 November. It will be held in Jakarta, Indonesia.

The announcement follows the conclusion of the Free Fire Esports World Cup 2025 in Riyadh, which offered one direct qualification slot for the Global Finals. That spot was secured by Evos Divine from Indonesia after winning the World Cup title.

• FFWSEA (Southeast Asia) – 8 teams
• FFWS Brazil – 3 teams
• FFWS LATAM – 2 teams
• FFWS Bangladesh – 2 teams
• FFWS MEA (Middle East & Africa) – 1 team
• FFWS Pakistan – 1 team

This year marks a milestone for Bangladesh, as the country’s Free Fire ban was lifted earlier in 2025, allowing two teams to compete in the Global Finals for the first time in history.

India’s Entry to Free Fire

India will not participate in the world championship as the game is banned in the country. Nevertheless, the game developer launched a local version dubbed Free Fire Max in India, but it doesn’t allow players to participate in the world championship.
