Cyberpunk 2077 Update 2.3 introduces four unique cars, self-driving Delamain Cabs and more.
CD Projekt RED has officially confirmed that Cyberpunk 2077 is getting a new DLC and content update. While details remain under wraps, this is exciting news as the studio is also working on a sequel for the game. This shows that the studio is still not done with the game and might have some more surprises hidden in the night city for the gamers. The last update for the game came back in September 2023 and many fans assumed it was the final update for the game. But, during the latest REDstreams livestream on YouTube, the studio confirmed that the rumours of a new patch for the game. The new patch is mostly rumoured to bring a DLC that might introduce new characters and fans are expecting better visuals, new character looks, and improvements for photo mode. Even CD Projekt RED’s community director Pawel Sasko has been asking fans about the features they still want in game. All of this hints that this new update might be a crucial one for the studio. Back in March, the official Cyberpunk 2077 X account teased fans with a cryptic post and a glitched-out video showing six unknown characters. This could possibly be a hint for the upcoming new update.

To recall, Cyberpunk 2077 Patch 2.2 rolled out in December 2024, bringing tons of improvements. Now, this new patch clearly hints that CD Projekt RED isn’t done with Night City just yet.
With Patch 2.3 officially locked for June 26, it’s safe to say Cyberpunk 2077 still has more to offer. Whether it turns out to be a full expansion, a mini-story drop, or new endgame content, we’ll find out more later this month.
