
Call of Duty has launched a new update for Modern Warfare 3 Multiplayer, Zombies, and Warzone. The new update comes almost a week after Season 3 was announced. The update brings major fixes across maps, modes, gameplay, and other areas. It also deals with the tactical-sprint issue. Let’s see all the fixes and changes as per the patch notes.
— The game was crashing for several users after Challenge completion. However, this has now been fixed in the latest update.
— The update also addresses several issues with the Multiplayer mode such as the error that emerged in Hardcore Quick Play.
— The Weekly Challenge countdown timer will no longer display an invalid time as the midseason update approaches.
— You won’t see overlapping weapon images on the HUD anymore when two Melee weapons are equipped as that issue has been fixed.
— Max Weapon Level prerequisites for Weapon Prestige Camos are now consistently applied, thanks to the new update.
— Challenges involving Stim usage now no longer need a minimum 50 percent regain to progress.
— Those who equipped the Binary Mortality Event Camo can equip it again.
— Skidgrow map has received a collision to prevent players from reaching an exploitable location on the Roof.
— The Escort mode has received a few changes and they are as follows: The update resolves an issue that caused poor performance and lack of functionality upon joining a match, lights on the MAW will no longer appear to detach as the match progresses, fixes for match timer inconsistencies. With the new update, Care Package crates get destroyed upon collision with the MAW.
— Reloads are no longer cancelled upon moving when the Automatic tac-sprint setting is enabled.
— The minimap in Hardcore game modes is displayed on the HUD while the EMD tracking device is active on an enemy.
— Further, the update also restricts a few items in ranked play such as the Sratch 20-L Suppressor Attachment, EMD Mine Equipment, and Enhanced Vision Google Field Upgrade.
— Moving to Zombies, there are fixes in UIX, gameplay and progression. Once the Calling Card Prestige 9 Mastery Challenge is completed, the correct title, “Let ‘Em Have it!” will now be displayed.
— There’s also a fix for the blank splash notifications issue for the Armory Unlocks.
— There are also some changes to the Dark Aether Rift with the major one being the following: Players can now contribute Zombie kills to the Relic Attunement.
— Apart from this, there are also fixes for reload inconsistency and bugs that made players stuck in out-of-map locations. There are also other minor fixes for the Zombies that you can notice when playing the game.
The latest update brings only bug fixes to Warzone. There’s no major addition. Following are all the fixes.
— Fixes the weapon reloading issue, where players weren’t able to reload weapons.
— The update also brings a fix for the issue that caused the Prioritize Interact setting on controllers to prevent players from reloading.
— Players weren’t able to start a Private Match after completing the player threshold. The update fixes this issue.
— Some quad members saw incorrect ping on the Champion’s Quest contract. This has also been fixed in the latest update.
