Black Myth Wukong: Release date, pricing, availability, and more

Black Myth Wukong could be dubbed one of the most anticipated games of 2024. It has been in the development stage since 2018 and the game is finally getting a release this year on PS5 and Windows PC. As for the Xbox Series X|S owners, they will get to play a game a little later than PS5 owners.

The game is all set to make a debut this month on August 20, 2024. According to different time zones, some players may even get access to the game on August 19 in the late hours. The deluxe edition owners of the game will get access to exclusive armor and weapon cosmetics.

The regular addition of Black Myth Wukong is available for preorder on Steam for Rs 3,599. In addition, the Black Myth Wukong Digital Deluxe Edition is available at a price of Rs 4,599. And the deluxe edition upgrade for the game can be purchased for Rs 1,000. As of now, there is no confirmation regarding the preloading of the game. Nonetheless, expectations are that the franchise will announce the same 48 to 72 hours prior to the release.

Black Myth Wukong is a single-player third-person ARPG that revolves around an offensive approach and fighting enemies. The players will be able to use unique spells and initiate lengthy attack combos. As the players progress in the game, they will keep unlocking lethal abilities and get gear upgrades. the game will also include a stamina-based combat system and skill trees.

As for the story, Black Myth Wukong takes direct inspiration from one of the most popular novels from Chinese and Asian literature, Journey to the West. The main protagonist of the game is based on one of the main characters from the book, Sun Wukong, and we will get to see his glory and specialties in the game as well.
