Lava Blaze 5G may be the cheapest 5G phone you can buy on Republic Day

Lava has announced the Republic Day deals on its major smartphones, including the Blaze 5G, which is currently the most inexpensive 5G phone in India. Currently available for Rs 10,999, the Lava Blaze 5G, however, will sell for as low as Rs 8,139 during the company’s Republic Day sale. Lava Mobiles will give a discount of 26 percent on all smartphones under the sale, which will begin at 12 pm on January 26, which is India’s Republic Day.

According to the company website, buyers can get a 26 percent discount on all phones, but for that, they will have to use a promo code while checking out. While the offer will be valid for all phones purchased from the Lava online store, customers are also likely to be eligible for the discount if they purchase the Lava Blaze 5G from Amazon. The current listed price of Lava Blaze 5G on Amazon is Rs 10,999 and if you use select bank cards, you could get a discount of up to Rs 1,099 right away. After the discount kicks in, the price on Amazon is expected to drop even more.

Lava Blaze 5G specifications

Launched in November last year, the Lava Blaze 5G comes with a 6.5-inch HD+ IPS display with WidevineL1 certification and a screen refresh rate of 90Hz. Powering it is a 7nm MediaTek Dimensity 700 system-on-chip (SoC), coupled with 4GB of RAM alongside support for 3GB of virtual RAM. It will also pack 128GB of storage and it will run on Google’s Android 12 OS. Coming to the cameras, Lava said that the Lava Blaze 5G comes with a 50-megapixel dual camera setup at the back and an 8-megapixel camera in the front. It is backed by a 5,000mAh battery without support for fast charging. Lava says the phone supports both Airtel 5G Plus and Jio True 5G, which means there is support for both non-standalone (NSA) and standalone (SA) network architectures.
