Google says that the latest Nano Banana Pro is based on Gemini’s state-of-the-art reasoning along with real-world knowledge which makes it a better option to visualize information better. One of the interesting highlight of the Nano Banana Pro is that it is not just about generating photos or image editing, the latest Google image model can help you represent data as infographics, create prototypes, turn handwritten notes into diagrams or maybe create a quick comic. The latest Google Nano Banana Pro model is not limited to Gemini, instead it is now rolling out across Google Workspace apps:
Google is also rolling it out to developers via the Gemini API, Google AI Studio and Vertex AI.
Nano Banana Pro isn’t just about making pretty pictures. It can handle a wide range of visual tasks, such as:
Generate Infographics, diagrams and more: As shown above, the model can create infographics, diagrams, and educational explainers using real-world data. It even pulls accurate information via Google Search – helpful for recipes, weather snapshots, or sports visuals.
Create images with accurate, legible text: One big issue with AI imagery has always been text. Google says Nano Banana Pro handles multilingual text far better, whether it’s a quick tagline or a full paragraph on a poster or mockup.
Blend multiple images: You can mix up to 14 images and maintain consistent faces for up to five people – useful for prototyping, branding, or generating high-quality product concepts.
Better editing controls: You can fine-tune lighting, camera angles, colours, focus and even transform the environment (like turning day into night). Images can be exported up to 4K for print or media use.
