To try this new feature, users can head to the Canva AI page and select the create a video clip option. Simply enter a text prompt, and Veo 3 will generate a short video with motion and audio. This is not the first time Canva has introduced AI features. During their Canva Create event in April, they announced multiple new AI feature with Visual Suite 2.0, which could write reports, build campaigns, and design websites, all within a single Canva project. It could also generate interactive data and  visualis using Magic Charts. Additionally, they introduced voice command support via the new Canva AI Assistant.

This time around, it seems Canva is ready to adopt AI video generation at full speed. With Veo 3, the quality will be unmatched. Canva has also ensured that the tool cannot be misused, implementing AI guardrails that block harmful prompts. It’s great to see the brand taking responsibility to make sure the AI tool cannot generate unsafe or offensive content.
