WhatsApp is making its sticker game stronger with the addition of a new feature. As per a report by WabetaInfo, WhatsApp’s update tracker, the instant messaging app is now working on a feature that will let you create your own personalised stickers within the app while editing the images, existing stickers to refine them or using the sticker keyboard. And the crucial part is that you can save them without the need to share.
So far, the created stickers used to be sent in an active chat, which limits the use case of the customised stickers. However, the latest feature makes it flexible to use. As per the details shared by WabetaInfo, you will get an option to decide whether you want to save the sticker after creating it or want to send it in a chat. Not only that, you can also save your creations as a favourite sticker.
However, the drawback is that the feature is rolling out in the beta version of Android 2.25.24.23. That means, not all WhatsApp users will get it right now, and you will need to wait for the official rollout in the future.
But there is another WhatsApp feature which has been rolled out officially for all users. Here’s what.
Yes, your video calls are getting AI-powered background options. WhatsApp has “added even more effects and filters for video calls, photos and videos, and now you can also imagine any background and bring it to life with Meta AI on WhatsApp.”
However, the feature will only be available once you start a video call on WhatsApp. So far, WhatsApp users have been used to getting a limited set of background options along with the Blur effect.
