WhatsApp New Feature: Now You Can Edit Your Album Caption; Check Out if the Feature is Available or Not for You

WhatsApp keep on bringing new features on its platform to increase user engagement. From MetaAI integration to Enhanced video calls, the Meta-owned tech giant never fails to disappoint us. Even this time, the company launched one of the interesting features that will allow users to edit their album captions that too within 15 minutes of sending them.

The popular messaging app will give users permission to edit captions for photo and video albums even after they are sent. The feature is first spotted by the WAbetainfo, a website responsible for keeping an eye of the latest and upcoming WhatsApp features. The feature was spotted on the latest WhatsApp beta for Android 2.25.3.12 update. You can straight head to the Google Play Store and check the beta update which gives us a fair idea that the company is working on a feature to edit the album caption.

WhatsApp didn’t allow till now to edit the album caption including single media messages or individual sentences. But with the new update, the tech giant seems to be bringing new features that will enhance th overall user experience on the app. However, there’s no official information about when the feature will be made available.

The Edit Album Caption feature will help users to fix the typo, mis information, clarify context after sending the album. You can edit the album caption within 15 minutes of sending it. This will give you better flexibility as you don’t have to delete the entire album if some wrong information is sent. The said feature is currently under development and will roll out in coming months or days. However, users can still edit the caption of a single media after sending it. This feature is not for albums. In addition, there are several other features that WhastApp is planning to bring on the app.
