WhatsApp could soon let you Add Your stickers to Status Updates

WhatsApp is working on a new feature that will let the users add polls or stickers on Status updates similar to Instagram. However, the visibility of the stickers will be available for a limited people to protect user privacy.

Now, a report by WAbetaInfo has suggested that WhatsApp is working on adding new content stickers for Status updates. In simple terms, the addition of poll stickers to WhatsApp Status will definitely increase the user interaction on the platform. WhatsApp Content Stickers for Status Updates

As of now, WhatsApp Beta for Android’s latest version teased the addition of more content stickers to the platform with the ‘Add Yours’ feature that we have seen on Instagram. As revealed in the leaks, the case will be a little different with WhatsApp. Here, all the interactions one initiates on someone’s private mentions will be end-to-end encrypted and only a set of users will be able to see the response. Talking about the current scenario, both the features are under development. Once they get past the beta stage, the features will be rolled out for the stable version of WhatsApp.

Apart from that, the instant-messaging platform is also working on a Search on Web feature that will allow the users to check the authenticity of different images directly on web. The feature will work similar to Google’s reverse image search and the images will be sent directly to web being end to end encrypted.
