WhatsApp brings video call effects, custom video call support for users

And now, the Meta-owned instant messaging app has introduced two new features for the stable version – custom call support along with new video call effects. Starting from now, all the users will be able to make group calls and choose the participants they want to add and the ones that they want to leave out. The feature could work as a boon for the people planning a surprise party for their loved ones.

For the first time, WhatsApp introduced the video call effects for the masses. There were only a few effects at the time of the feature launch for WhatsApp. Now, the application is bringing ten new features for the audience along with one of the most popular dog filter as well. You can get your hands on these features by simply clicking on the magic wand icon available at the top right corner of the screen.

And this time the smartphone app is not the only one that is going to take all the limelight. WhatsApp is also bringing new modifications to the app’s PC version. Here, the users will get to see a new dedicated call tab. After this change, users will be able to place calls, create call links, or even dial the phone number directly from the WhatsApp PC app. This will remove the need to get your phone every time to make a call via the app.

Last but not least, it has also been said that WhatsApp calls will also get better resolution and stable connection. The enhancement will be available for both desktop and mobile applications of WhatsApp. WhatsApp has always been the number one application for instant messaging and video calling.
