Meta has announced a new feature which resembles a feature to counter its competitive platform BlueSky. To recall, the BlueSky has crossed over 30 million users on its platforms and its becoming tough for its competitor Meta-owned Threads to come with several new features to survive in the challenging market. Meta has launched the custom feeds on Threads as one of the key features that’s already available on BlueSky. Meta announced the new feature via its blog post and Adam Mosseri, the head of Instagram also announced the feature via his post.
The post reads, “More improvements to Threads feeds to help you connect with others over your interests: you can now share your custom feeds for other people to add to their home screen. Feeds you share will be public and shown in a new “feeds” tab on your profile. This was a top request when custom feeds launched, so we’ve made sure creating and sharing feeds takes just a few steps and is easy for anyone.”
The feature will give option to other users to pin your custom feed on their homepage allowing them to find profiles and conversations that are relevant to them. Additionally, the feature will also allow you to explore public feeds under the new Feed tab. To recall, the tech giant first rolled out the feature in November which authorize users to track their favorite topic and information. Now the users can pin your Custom Feeds on their profile. The feature has been rolled out and you may get it soon.
