Google has finally introduced an inexpensive plan for its Google One service named Google One Lite. The best part about the plan is that it offers the services you get to see on a Google One subscription at a cheaper price. As of now, the plan is already available for a handful of users in the Indian market. The plan offers 30GB of cloud storage at a price of Rs 59 for a month.
And the catch here is that Google is offering the plan for free in the first months. After that, the users will be supposed to pay the basic amount. While the Basic plan by Google One offers 10GB of data on a monthly basis that can be even shared by up to 5 family members, the Google One Lite plan offers 30GB of data for your individual use.
The Google One Lite plan is a great alternative for people who don’t want to or need to pay the price of 100GB of data and want something in the middle of the basic plan and the free storage. The updated plan has started to pop up for multiple users and expectations are that it will be available for the masses pretty soon.
The budget-centric plan has only launched in India as of now and there is no information regarding the rollout of the same in the global market as well.
For your information, Google also offers free cloud storage of up to 15GB for all users. This storage is used by multiple Google applications like Google Drive, Gmail, Photos, and more. Once there is no space in the free account, the users can upgrade the storage with Google One. The base plan offers 100GB of data at Rs 130 per month. The premium tier plan offers 2TB storage at Rs 650 per month. And the AI Premium plan with 2TB storage can be purchased for Rs 1,950 per month.
