Google Gemini AI is making buzz all over the globe and now the tech giant is back at it with new features. The new feature named Google Gems will let the users create custom AI chatbots for particular tasks on their devices. This will allow the users to make Gemini their partner while working out, coding, or even writing. For example, you can make Gemini act as an expert on a given subject and answer you in a way that can help you achieve your goals.
You will be supposed to provide instructions to Google Gems, save an introduction for it, and even assign a character to it if you want high interactivity. It will activate after that and will be ready to use. One thing to keep in mind here is that the feature will only be available for the Gemini Advanced subscribers.
The Gems feature will be available for both smartphones and desktops for Gemini Business, Gemini Advanced, and Gemini Enterprise users in 150-plus countries along with India.
Google is releasing multiple predesigned Gems for tasks like providing writing tips, troubleshooting codes, and more. Apart from that, Google is also rolling out the next-gen image generation tool Imagen 3 which will allow people to generate AI images of people.
Google has integrated features that will restrict overcorrection for diversity which was a major drawback with their model in the past. It will also come with a SynthID tool to watermark the images. As for the release, the Imagen 3 feature will be available for the masses starting from this week itself. Nonetheless, the ability to produce images with it will be limited to paid users as of now.
