The special thing is that this feature will send gifts while keeping the sender anonymous. Announcing the feature, Blinkit CEO Albinder Dhindsa shared a post on X (Twitter). His post reads, “Introducing Secret Santa by Blinkit! It’s a new feature we’ve built that allows one to create a group, assign Santa, and even order gifts within minutes.”

Here’s a step-by-step guide on how you can use this feature:

STEP1: To avail of this Secret Santa feature, you need to first open the Blinkit app on your smartphone.

STEP2: Now go to the Christmas category and there you will see a banner “Ready for Secret Santa?”

STEP3: The next step is to create a group and invite your friends to join that group.

STEP4: Now the app will assign Santa to everyone without revealing the name and it will be an anonymous pairing

STEP5: Now you will see a toll where you have to set a time, date, and location for exchanging the gift.

STEP6: The app will also send you reminder notifications so that you can track everything.

STEP7: Now you can order gifts directly and they will be delivered within 10 minutes.
