BHIM 3.0 launched with new features in India; Check details

BHIM or the Bharat Interface for Money has got a brand new BHIM 3.0 makeover that allows the users to get their hands on multiple new features. The third version of BHIM will be launched completely in April 2025 with some of the features already making debut. This time, the users will get to see special features like split expenses and spend analytics. Moving forward in the article, we will talk in brief about everything that is going to be new in the BHIM 3.0.

BHIM 3.0: New features and services

First things first, the BHIM 3,0 will be available in more than 15 Indian languages. And you can also get to see instant transactions in regions where the internet is weak. The Split Expenses of the app will let the users split their expenses among family and friends for any of the expenses like shopping, rent, restaurant bills, and more.

Furthermore, the latest update also offers a dashboard that automatically categorizes and classifies the expenses. This works as a major aid in budgeting and controlling the expenses related to a particular discipline.

Apart from that, the users will get to see Family mode in the application. Here, you can add all the family members to the same account. The users can assign specific payments to different family members and even track their expenses. The app is also getting an ‘Action Needed’ Alert which will notify the users regarding the necessary payments and not let them miss one.

As for the rollout of BHIM 3.0, it is to be executed in a phased manner and the complete rollout in the country will be accomplished somewhere around April 2025. One thing that the officials have said is that BHIM 3.0 is going to make financial management and digital payments less tedious.
