Apple Launched ‘Apple Invites’, an Event Planning App for iPhone: Check Out How it Works

Apple Invites App: Apple has announced to introduce a new feature as ‘Apple Invites’. The tech giant’s initiative to introduce this new app will bring people together for activities like dinners, events, and gatherings. Additionally, the app includes several features that offers intuitive scheduling and communication features for its users. The company announced about the feature on its blog post.

The blog post reads:

With Apple Invites, an event comes to life from the moment the invitation is created, and users can share lasting memories even after they get together,” said Brent Chiu-Watson, Apple’s senior director of Worldwide Product Marketing for Apps and iCloud. “Apple Invites brings together capabilities our users already know and love across iPhone, iCloud, and Apple Music, making it easy to plan special events.”

What is Apple Invites?

The Apple Invites will allow users to create custom invitations for events like birthday party, wedding party, or any other occasion. The app is available for iOS users which will allow them to create invitations, RSVP, Shared Albums contribution, and engage with Apple Music playlists. In addition, the feature will also allow users to share invitations.

Users can download the ‘Apple Invites’ app from App store or you can also access it via  icloud.com/invites. The app is available for iClous Plus subscribers and users can share lasting memories. The Apple’s senior director of Worldwide Product Marketing for Apps and iCloud, Brent Chiu-Watson says, “With Apple Invites, an event comes to life from the moment the invitation is created, and users can share lasting memories even after they get together.”

Here’s how you can use ‘Apple Invites’

STEP1: The first step in order to use the ‘Apple Invites’ app is to choose an image from your photo library. You can also choose it from app’s gallery of backgrounds.

STEP2: Now you have to integrate it with Maps and Weather. This will give guests an idea about the directions to the event.

STEP3: Users can also share photos and videos to a dedicated Shared Album with the Invite.

STEP4: In addition, the collaborative playlist will allow you to create a personalized soundtrack that guests can access right from the Apple Invites.

The app has been integrated with the Apple Intelligence which will help users to head directly to the built-in Image Playground and create original images. The app will also give authorization to use Writing Tools. Furthermore, users can manage and view their events along with share invitations with a link. To make thing easy, the company has allowed users who are receiving invites to ‘view and respond to an invitation using the new iPhone app or on the web without needing an iCloud+ subscription or an Apple Account.’

Apple has added several premium features for iCloud users including Expanded storage, Private Relay, Hide My Email, HomeKit Secure Video, Custom email domains, Family Sharing.
