Meta’s first-generation Ray-Ban smart glasses are finally set to be available through major online retailers in India. The company has confirmed that the Ray-Ban Meta Glasses (Gen 1) will go on sale from November 21 via Amazon, Flipkart, and Reliance Digital. Developed jointly by Meta and EssilorLuxottica, the Ray-Ban Meta Glasses were launched in India earlier this year in May. So far, the smart glasses have been sold exclusively through the Ray-Ban India website and select optical stores. The Ray-Ban Meta Glasses (Gen 1) start at Rs 29,900 and will be available in popular designs like Wayfarer and Headliner. Ray-Ban Meta Glasses (Gen 1) Specifications, Features

The smart glasses feature a 12MP ultra-wide camera that lets users click photos and record videos without using their hands. They come with open-ear speakers and five microphones, allowing users to take calls, record audio, and interact with Meta’s AI assistant.

The glasses support Meta AI, which can be activated with a simple voice command – “Hey Meta”. It can be used to ask questions, perform quick actions, or get information on the go. Users can also live stream videos directly through the glasses.

Powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon AR1 Gen 1 chip, the Ray-Ban Meta Glasses offer around four hours of battery life per charge. They support Bluetooth 5.2 and Wi-Fi 6 connectivity and can be linked with the Meta View app to manage photos, videos, and settings.

Available in several colours and frame styles, the Ray-Ban Meta Glasses combine familiar Ray-Ban looks with Meta’s smart tech, making them suitable for both casual wear and everyday use.
