Apple’s ‘It’s Glowtime’ event happened a couple of days ago and the Cupertino-based tech giant ditched the launch of Watch Ultra 3. Instead, we got to see a version of Ultra Watch 2 with minor upgrades. In a recent development, TF Securities International analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has suggested that the Apple Watch Ultra 3 will be launched in 2025. And that’s not it, Kuo also suggested that the third generation of Apple Watch SE will also launch in 2025. Kuo previously revealed that Apple is not planning to launch the Apple Watch Ultra 3 with the iPhone 17=6 lineup and here we are, without a new watch, and just a modification of the older version. Now, he has suggested that the Watch Ultra 3 and the third-generation Watch SE will be launched by the company in the third quarter of 2025. Keeping the timeline in mind here, we can expect to see both the upcoming watch models alongside the iPhone 17 series which will most probably serve as the successor to the recently launched iPhone 16 series. The accuracy of Ming’s claims is such that he announced that Apple would not release the successor of the Watch Ultra 2 back in 2023. Kuo also said that Apple could get to see a decline in the shipment of Ultra Watch 2 by up to 30% year-on-year contributing to a 10% decline in the total shipments of Apple Watches. This confirms one thing we are most likely not getting to see the Apple Watch Ultra 3 in the October event where Apple is setting up the stage to announce the new MacBook Pro, iMac, and Mac Mini. All of the upcoming devices are expected to run on the M4 processor.
