Vodafone Idea Rs 1,149 Prepaid Plan Offers 180 Days Validity with Unlimited Calls and 20GB Data
If you’re someone who doesn’t want to keep recharging your phone every month, Vodafone Idea (Vi) has a new prepaid plan that might just make things easier. The company has introduced a Rs 1,149 plan that focuses more on calling and long validity rather than data. It’s simple, long-lasting, and meant for people who mainly use their phones for voice calls or light data use. Think of it as a plan that keeps your number active and your calls going – without you having to think about recharges for the next six months. Also Read: Jio, Airtel Add Over 4 Lakh Users In July; Vodafone-Idea, BSNL See Decline: TRAI
The Rs 1,149 plan gives you unlimited voice calls, 1,800 SMS, and 20GB of total data with a validity of 180 days. Once you use up your 20GB, extra data will be charged at 50 paise per MB. For SMS, it’s Rs 1 per local and Rs 1.5 per STD after the free quota ends. Also Read: Vi 5G Services Expand To 8 New Cities, More To Join Soon: Check Full List Here
If you do the math, it costs roughly Rs 6.38 per day, which isn’t bad at all for those who want to keep things running smoothly without frequent top-ups.
Interestingly, this plan feels like the shorter sibling of Vi’s Rs 2,249 annual plan. That one offers 365 days of validity, 40GB data, and 3,600 SMS – almost double of everything. So, if you don’t want to commit for a full year, the Rs 1,149 plan is a decent halfway option.
This plan is clearly made for users who don’t use a lot of data – maybe your parents, or anyone using a secondary SIM. It keeps the number active, offers unlimited calling, and gives you just enough data to stay connected. And if you ever run out, Vi’s data vouchers are always there to top up as needed. There are no fancy add-ons like weekend rollover or night data, but that’s fine – it’s meant to be a straightforward, no-fuss plan.
