Sony State of Play: All the games coming to PS VR2
Sony, at its State of Play event announced a host of new games that will be coming to the PS VR2 this year.

Foglands
At the event, Well Told Entertainment announced its first original game as an independent studio. The game dubbed as The Foglands is an action roguelike shooter game and it is set in a world completely coated by a toxic Fog where a community is forced to live in an underground bunker, called The Hold. Within the community, there are scavengers who maintain the survival of their shelter, called Runners. The story picks up as you play as a new Runner on their first mission. It will be coming to PS VR2 in 2023.

Green Hell VR
It will be coming to PS VR2 in 2023. In the game, players will become Jake Higgins, a famous anthropologist who finds himself lost in the Amazon jungle. Surrounded by various dangers and equipped only with his watch, backpack and handy survival guide, he must endure and make it back to civilization.

Synapse
Synapse will be launching exclusively on PS VR2 later this year.

Humanity
While this game has been launched for Sony’s PlayStation gaming consoles, it is also compatible with PS VR2. “The game really provides a unique sensation when experienced in VR, and simply feels great to play. It’s as though you’re a giant peering down at a world of tiny people, one where every nook and cranny has been delicately crafted,” tha ltd founder Yugo Nakamura said on the occasion.

Journey to Foundation

Adapting Asimov’s work into an immersive VR narrative adventure has been an incredible journey for our team, and we can’t wait for people to experience it first-hand, Executive Producer Ken Thain said in a statement. It will be coming to the PS VR2 in the fall of 2023.

Before Your Eyes
At the event, GoodbyeWorld Games showcased a new game called Before Your Eyes. It was conceived by co-director Will Hellwarth seven years ago as a student project at USC. It is being developed for PS VR2. However, the timeline of launch isn't clear yet.
