The OnePlus Nord 6, reportedly the global version of the Chinese Turbo 6, is expected to launch in India later this year. Here is what to expect over Nord 5.
One of the biggest changes could be the battery. The Nord 6 is tipped to pack a massive 9,000mAh unit.
The Nord 6 may retain a similar 1.5K flat display but with a higher refresh rate. Reports suggest a jump from 144Hz on the Nord 5 to 165Hz.
The Nord 6 could run on the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset, an upgrade over the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 found in the Nord 5.
Leaks suggest the device may offer at least 12GB RAM variants, which should help with multitasking and heavy apps.
The Nord 6 is also expected to move from UFS 3.1 storage to faster UFS 4.1 storage, which should improve app loading and overall responsiveness.
Another possible upgrade is durability. The Nord 6 could introduce IP68 and IP69 ratings, a step up from the IP65 rating seen on earlier Nord models.
The Nord 5 was launched a starting price of Rs 31,999 for the 8GB+256GB variant. The Nord 6 is expected to get a price hike.
