Honor is finally making the much-awaited comeback in India next month. It will be headed by the former Realme India head, Madhav Sheth.
HonorTech, a completely Indian entity, will relaunch the Honor brand in India. HonorTech is said to work under a licensing deal with China's Honor where it plans to invest 1,000 crore in the business.
Honor will kickstart its India business with the launch of Honor 90, which was recently teased by Sheth. It will be a mid-range phone under Rs 40,000 price segment.
Unlike its Chinese models, all Honor phones launching in India are said to have a clean UI with minimal bloatware. Honor's phones will also support Google Play Services.
HonorTech aims to offer good customer service. The company will start with 150 service centres in the country and plans to have up to 400 service centres by the end of the year.
