WhatsApp is reportedly working on a new feature that will automatically share all messages sent in the group 24 hours before a new user joins. So, the new user will be able to read older messages helping him/her to understand the context of the new messages.

Earlier this year, WhatsApp rolled out Channels in over 9 countries including Singapore, Malaysia, Kenya, and others. However, the feature still isn't available in India. That may change soon.
