After teasers, colour reveals and retailer listings, OnePlus has confirmed the arrival of its next budget-focused tablet in India – the OnePlus Pad Go 2. While the event page still reads “Coming Soon,” however, several reports suggest that the launch is scheduled for December 17 at 12 PM. And this time, the company is debuting the younger sibling of the OnePlus 15 – the OnePlus 15R. Also Read: Qualcomm Launches Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 Chipset; OnePlus 15R To Be The First Phone To Get It?

As per the launch teaser, the OnePlus Pad Go 2 will come in Shadow Black and Lavender Drift shades. OnePlus claims the finish is both sleek and skin-friendly, which sounds like a subtle way of saying it should feel comfortable to hold for long hours. The teaser images show a single rear camera without flash, keeping the design minimal. Also Read: OnePlus 15R Design Leaked: Check Expected Specs, Price, Features, Release Date, More
OnePlus has also revealed that one of the biggest additions here is stylus support. OnePlus Pad Go 2 Stylo will support 4096 pressure levels. This marks the first time the Pad Go series gets pen input at all, making it more useful for students, jotting notes, annotating PDFs or even casual sketching.
Moreover, the top-tier 8GB + 256GB Shadow Black version is expected to be OnePlus’ first 5G tablet variant in India, leaks suggested. That’s a noticeable move because a lot of tablets in this category stop at 4G or Wi-Fi only. The 5G model is expected to be available to purchase on Amazon.in, Flipkart, the OnePlus India online store, and offline retail outlets after launch.
OnePlus hasn’t fully revealed the processor yet. But since the tablet is aimed at study and light work, it may continue with a mid-range MediaTek chip like the older model. The display is tipped to be 144Hz with up to 90 FPS gameplay support, making gaming on BGMI and Free Fire smoother. It is also expected to carry a 7000mAh battery and VC cooling to handle long sessions, especially while gaming or streaming.
More details should surface in the coming weeks as we near the launch.
