OnePlus Open is one of the best foldables in the market right now, and while all the fans wait for a sequel, OnePlus looks like they’re pushing some new and major updates for the device. OnePlus has started rolling out the OxygenOS 15.0.0.830 update for the OnePlus Open in India. This version called the CPH2551_15.0.0.830(EX01) is currently reaching a small batch of users, with a broader rollout expected in the coming days.

The OxygenOS 15.0.0.830 update is a major one, as it brings several refinements and also introduces some new features. Firstly the the standout feature added is a remote PC control functionality. Users can now remotely control your Windows PC and access files directly from your phone. OnePlus has also improved network connectivity. The company has fine-tuned its cellular network algorithm for smoother and more stable signal reception.

Another useful addition is the Speaker Cleaner tool, which helps keep your phone’s speakers functioning properly. You can access it by going to: Phone Manager > Tools > More > Accessibility & convenience > Speaker Cleaner.

Gestures just got smarter too. Now, users can drag images and text across third-party apps using simple gestures. To enable this, head to Settings > Accessibility & convenience > Drag & drop.

Along with all that, there are a couple of minor UI enhancements. Users can expect smoother animations in the notification drawer and Quick Settings, improved responsiveness in the floating bar, and quick function access from the lock screen. Notifications have also been upgraded as stacking now shows unseen counts and source info to help you prioritize alerts more easily.

Lastly, the update includes the June 2025 Android security patch for improved system protection. For users who encounter any bugs, Oneplus has given a way to send them feedback through the OnePlus Community App under Bug Report, or dial *#800# to access the feedback tool.
