Coming to the design, the phone’s frame is built of aluminum and it is really light weight at just 185g. The dual rear cameras are housed in a square housing and blend seamlessly into the back panel. It comes in 3 colours: Black Velvet, Pink Satin, and a Green Silk.
At its core, the OnePlus 13s is powered by the same Snapdragon 8 Elite found in the high-end OnePlus 13. This means users will get the same flagship-level performance in a compact form factor. So, it can easily handle all high-end performance, multitasking, and gaming without any hiccups.
To keep thermals in check, OnePlus has also packed the phone with its Cryo-Velocity Vapour Chamber cooling system, which features a large heat dissipation area.
Apart from the performance, OnePlus has also packed this device with cool AI features. This phone has a dedicated shortcut Plus Key that can be used for saving schedules, events, places, and more into OnePlus Mind Space. This keeps all important stuff in one place. On the software front, the phone runs on Android 15 with OxygenOS 15 on top.
The OnePlus 13s packs a 50 MP main camera with the Sony sensor and a 50MP 2x optical telephoto lens. Sadly, it doesn’t have an ultra-wide camera. The rear camera has OIS and up to 4k 60fps video recording On the front side, it features a 32 MP selfie camera that is ideal for clicking some good pictures.
Talking about the battery, the OnePlus 13s comes with a massive 5850mAh silicon-carbon battery. This is great news, as most compact phones fall short in terms of battery life. But this massive battery is enough to power through a full day and even more. It also supports 80W SuperVOOC fast charging to fuel up the large battery quickly.
For the gamers, OnePlus has also given bypass charging. This ensures, that the charge can go straight to the phone and power it when you are running low on battery while gaming. This also prevents overheating keeping the performance steady.
A standout feature is the inclusion of the G1 Wi-Fi chipset, which OnePlus says is the only independently integrated Wi-Fi chip in any smartphone in India right now. This should enhance wireless connectivity, reduce lag, and offer more stable internet performance.
The OnePlus 13s is priced at Rs. 54,999 for the 12GB RAM and 256 GB storage and Rs. 59,999 for the 12GB RAM and 512 GB storage. There is also a discount for SBI cards bringing the pricing down to Rs. 49,999 and Rs. 54,999 respectively. The phone will be available for pre-booking starting June 5, with the official sale going live on June 12 at 12 PM IST.
